As association , obtaining the status of Union Association means that the association undertakes to cooperate with Uppsala Student Union in accordance with these regulations. Union Associations is independent of Uppsala Student Union in terms of organisation and activities, with the exceptions set out in these regulations.

Applications received for the re-registration of Union Association will be dealt with by the Board. The decision on the application will be taken by the Board or one of the section councils depending on what the association wants to belong to.
