Pax et Bellum is the Master student association of the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University. The overall goals of Pax et Bellum are (1) open and free exchange of ideas through a variety of events of quality and relevance to the fulfilment of our vision; (2) bridging theory and practice of peace and conflict work; (3) enable personal and professional development; and (4) encourage the active involvement of our members. We promote interest in and the study of peace and conflict issues, as well as create opportunities for interaction both within the department and with anyone else that has an interest in the field of peace and conflict.
