Contact person for the Social Sciences Section's labor market fair
In the spring of 2025, the Division of Social Sciences plans to organize a job fair for the first time. We are looking for committed and social students who want to help start the work for this fair.
For a job fair to take place at all, exhibitors must be present at the fair. As a contact manager, you therefore work in a group with 1-4 other contact managers to reach out to potential exhibitors. The contact group will be involved in building the fair and its content from scratch. The role involves a great deal of freedom and the opportunity for own initiative. Together, the contact group will be responsible for contacting and booking potential exhibitors for the fair as well as being the bridge between the section's labor market fair and exhibitors. In addition to this, the role entails a responsibility to actively be part of the fair's project group and together make more general decisions about the labor market fair. Through all this, the role will involve learning a lot about the labor market and expanding your network of contacts for the future. The role includes:
- Actively contact a diverse group of potential exhibitors targeting students in the social sciences by email, phone and other means and book them for the fair.
- Keep in touch with Union Associations about potential exhibitors.
- Be an important part of the central project group of the fair and attend its meetings.
- Take initiative in the work and design of the role's tasks.
It is desirable if you:
- Been involved in the economic activities of a union
- Has experience in business contact
- Have experience with student social events
- Likes to take the initiative for new ideas
- Want to learn more about the labor market for social science students
