Trade fair manager for Momentum
Start working towards a job fair!
In the spring of 2025, the Division of Social Sciences plans to organize the Momentum job fair for the first time. We are looking for committed and social students who want to help start the work for this fair.
To make the fair happen, you need to be responsible for the fair on the day, as well as the preparatory work before it. As a fair manager, you work together with the fair's project group to plan the day in everything from working with the exhibitors to ensuring the practical details of the fair. The role involves a great deal of freedom and opportunity for initiative. You will lead the work to develop solutions to the practical problems that arise in connection with a trade fair. In addition to this, you may be given some responsibility for any officials at the fair and the planning of their tasks. The role includes:
- Develop a schedule for the fair
- Be primarily responsible for finding logistical solutions based on the needs of the fair
- Find fun and creative ways to make the fair attractive to students of the Social Sciences Section
- Be partly responsible for ensuring a positive experience for exhibitors at the fair
- Be prepared to be responsible for officials on site during the fair and their preparatory work
- Be an important part of the central project group of the fair and attend its meetings.
- Take initiative in the work and design of the role's tasks.
It is desirable if you:
- Has experience in organizing events
- Has experience in leadership
- Has previously been involved in student life
- Likes to take the initiative for new ideas
- Likes to be creative to solve practical problems
