The committee for the assessment of prepares teacher excellence cases and makes proposals to the Faculty Board.

The University Medical Board (USN) is a joint body between the administrative management of Region Uppsala and the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, with regard to cooperation on the training of doctors, medical research and the development of health care. The task of the University Medical Board is to be a preparatory body to the University Medical Board, USS, and to decide on issues that USS delegates to USN. The University Medical Board decides on the allocation of central strategic funds, division and composition of university medical units and R&D councils.

The University Health Care Board (USS) is a joint body between Region Uppsala and Uppsala University for cooperation on the education of doctors, medical research and the development of health care. The cooperation is regulated in the regional ALF agreement and in the university healthcare plan. The University Health Care Board also cooperates on issues relating to other education programs that are common to the region and the university, such as nursing education, midwifery education and physiotherapy education.

The Faculty Board Working Group on equal opportunities also constitutes the departmental equal opportunities working group. The working group shall support the Faculty Board, the Head of Department and the Equal Opportunities Officer in the implementation of the ongoing equal opportunities work, by preparing proposals for action plans for equal opportunities conditions, developing proposals for active measures in the equal opportunities work and participating in documentation and monitoring of equal opportunities work. In the equal opportunities group, both employees and students should be represented.

As a student representative on the department board, you participate in the body's meetings where decisions are made regarding, among other things, course syllabi and reading lists, the department's finances and activities.

As a student representative in the Education Council, you represent your course or program in matters of educational quality and contribute to higher quality of your education. The role of the Program Council is to provide a forum for discussion of program-related issues of primary concern to the program and students. In addition to the Program Council, the student representatives are expected to contribute with the students' report to the Annual Reporting Plan (AARP).

The group's task is to pay attention to issues and updates in the field of work environment and equal opportunities and meets about twice a semester to discuss current issues and plan the implementation of activities. The group includes the HR generalist (convener), two lecturers, head of department, two doctoral students, equal opportunities officer and safety officer.

As a student representative on the Department Board, you will participate in its meetings where decisions are made on the budget, financial statements, vacancy announcements, new courses and curricula.

As a student representative on the Department Board, you will participate in the body's meetings where decisions are made regarding, among other things, the budget, course syllabuses and guidelines for conducting written exams including e-exams.
