The Nordic Studies Council is a Union Association for all students at the Department of Nordic Languages. We organize study social events that are open to everyone interested in Swedish, Swedish as a second language and other Nordic languages - there will be forums, coffee and parties! We also work together with Uppsala Student Union to improve the study experience and accommodate students' rights at the department.

At the beginning of each semester we hold an annual meeting where we elect a new Board of Directors for the Student Council and we also nominate student representatives for various positions in the department. Notices of meetings are published on our social media.
