In order to stand in the student union elections, the student union party must register as a student union party. This applies to both the re-registration of existing parties and new parties. New parties must also attach a list of at least twenty-five (25) members of the Uppsala Student Union who support the registration by written consent, as well as their personal identification numbers and contact details.

By February 14, the Election Committee at Uppsala Student Union will announce Uppsala Student Union student union parties have been approved to run in the election. Approved parties will be notified by email. Student union parties can apply for party support. More information about the guidelines will be sent by email after registration has been approved.
