The Department of Peace and Conflict Research (DPCR) is managed by the Head of Department (prefekt) and the board of the Department. The board is chaired by the Head of Department and consists of elected members from four corporations: teacher/researchers (4 regular + 2 deputies), technical/administrative staff (1+1), PhD students (1+1), and Bachelors/Masters students (2+2). The board decides on guidelines for the Department's activities and on matters submitted to the board. The board convenes about three times per semester. The Head of Department, the deputy Head of Department, and the two Directors of Studies (one for the undergraduate and advanced level, and one for the doctoral level) and their deputies are responsible for the direct management of the Department's activities and the implementation of board decisions.

The psychology program's evaluation is part of a national evaluation of all psychology programs according to directives from UKÄ. May also be relevant to be part of a student group interviewed by a national panel that evaluates all psychology programs. Looking for student representatives from the psychology program preferably from T7 and up, at least from T3. Estimated work effort is approximately 20-40 hours.

Under the fields of study there are a number of faculties, 9 in total across the university. The faculties deal with different subject areas and decide on curricula and resource allocation between the faculty's subordinate departments. The work is governed by a faculty board whose chairman is called the dean. Meetings are a maximum of three hours long, plus reading of material before the meeting (1 hour/meeting) and a pre-meeting of a maximum of 30 minutes.

As a student representative on the departmental board, you participate in the meetings of the body, where decisions are made regarding, among other things, syllabuses and reading lists, and where other matters are discussed. You may also be consulted on matters concerning quality development, and invited to pedagogical discussions and planning meetings.

Undergraduate representatives are wanted for the Department Board of the Department of Medical Sciences. The Department Board makes decisions on the department's rules of procedure, budget, overall guidelines for operations, recruitment and issues that the head of department submits to the board. Lunch is served during the meeting.
