The Department Board is the department’s highest decision-making body and makes decisions regarding the budget, education, and operational planning, among other matters. As a student representative, you contribute the student perspective to these decisions. The role involves attending meetings, reviewing documents, and participating in discussions. The Board meets approximately nine times a year. You will gain insight into how the department is governed and have the opportunity to influence issues related to education and the learning environment.
