As Vice-President of the Humanities Section, you are part of the Executive Committee. Your task is to lead the Section's activities when the Chair is absent. The Vice President of HumSek acts as support for the President, but can also, by agreement within the Executive Committee, be given completely separate responsibilities, such as being responsible for HumSek's student social activities or responsibility for contact with the section's Union Associations. The Vice President shall work with student representation, student influence and student monitoring at the section's faculties.

There are resources available at Uppsala Student Union such as training, policy documents and staff working full-time with student issues as well as an office space in the union building.
