Vice Chair with responsibility for student welfare in the Humanities Section
As Vice Chair with responsibility for student social activities in the Humanities Section, you are a member of the Executive Committee. Your main task is to plan and lead the section’s student welfare work. The section organizes two major social gatherings and a small number of additional events. Part of your role is also to support the section’s student associations in their social activities. As vice president in charge of student welfare, you have a great deal of freedom to choose what you want to prioritize and focus on. In addition to the regular social events, you are completely free to pursue your own ideas and projects.
Common duties of the vice chair responsible for student welfare include
- Plan the section's meetings for the fall and spring.
- Help the section's student associations develop their activities.
- Represent humanists in university bodies.
- Assist the chairperson in carrying out their duties.
