As a student representative on the Working Environment and Equal Opportunities Committee, you will help combat discrimination and promote equal rights regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other beliefs, disability, sexual orientation, or age. You will also work to improve the work environment for students and staff at the department. The student representative is always invited but receives special notification when student issues are scheduled for discussion, allowing them to prioritize these meetings (and allocate time accordingly).
