The Departmental Board is the department’s collegially elected decision-making body. This is where all important decisions for the department are made. Examples of common/recurring matters: decisions on initiating recruitment, decisions on course syllabi and reading lists, decisions on the department’s budget and operational plan. The meeting is estimated to last a maximum of three hours, plus 1–2 hours of preparation time.
