The committee is an advisory and preparatory body to the Faculty Board. The Education Committee of the Faculty Board of Social Sciences shall work to promote quality in social science education at the undergraduate, advanced and doctoral levels within the faculty. The committee shall take the initiatives needed to develop the quality of the activities and is responsible for the faculty's annual follow-up of educational activities and that educational evaluations are carried out and submitted to the board. The Education Committee shall maintain an ongoing dialog with the core activities through the Faculty of Social Sciences' meetings of directors of studies at the undergraduate and advanced levels and at the postgraduate level. The decisions delegated to the Education Committee by the Faculty Board are set out in the Faculty of Social Sciences' Scheme of Delegation.
