Information on the Pedagogical Prize
Uppsala University awards pedagogical prizes for outstanding achievements in education at undergraduate and graduate level.
Five prizes, each worth SEK 20 000, are awarded annually in the fall.
Four of the prizes are aimed at teachers in the fields:
- Theology, Humanities and Education,
- Law and social sciences,
- Medicine and Pharmacy,
- Mathematics, science and technology
The fifth prize is aimed at educational achievements in a specific priority area for the year and is known as the open prize. In 2024, the priority area is "Education and training for a future changing world of work".

How to nominate?
The deadline for nominations for the 2024 Prize is 11 March 2024. The 2024 Prize winners will be announced at the end of May 2024. The winners will receive the prize in the fall of 2024.
