The Programme Board is a forum for continuous discussion of the activities of the programme and is responsible for the implementation of the programme. Among other things, it includes annually reviewing the program's curriculum and, if necessary, proposing changes to the Faculty Board, ensuring that course evaluations are carried out and followed up, deciding on course literature within the program and annually submitting proposals for course plans to the Faculty Board.

Nomination Committee for the assignment of the department, submits proposals to the Faculty Board (in its capacity as Board) for Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department and representative of technical/administrative staff representative on the Department Board. Meets when necessary. During the academic year 2024/2025 only possible replacement elections.

The mission of the Centre Board is to ensure the high quality of the Centre's activities. The Board decides, among other things, on the operational plan and the budget.

The recruitment team handles matters concerning employment as a professor and teaching positions for which a doctoral degree is a requirement under the University's employment regulations. The Recruitment Group also deals with promotion cases.

The Medical Committee is an advisory and preparatory body to the Area Board in matters relating to the planning of recruitment of professors and adjuncts, budget and operational planning. The Committee initiates and prepares major issues of principle of a strategic nature that are specific to the Faculty of Medicine.

The Centre for Research on Disability is aimed at researchers, teachers and students at Uppsala University, as well as relevant activities in the surrounding community and in interest organizations, with the aim of stimulating cooperation and information exchange on research on disability between those active in the field.

As a student representative on the departmental board, you participate in the meetings of the body, where decisions are made regarding, among other things, syllabuses and reading lists, and where other matters are discussed. You may also be consulted on matters concerning quality development, and invited to pedagogical discussions and planning meetings.

The Institutional Board shapes the direction and strategies of the Institution. The Board is the institution's highest decision-making body.
